Quickstart Guide

This guide walks you through creating your first AI-generated video with ACT3 AI.

Step 1: Create an Account​

Visit act3ai.com and sign up for a free account. No credit card required.

Step 2: Create a New Project​

From your dashboard, click New Project and give it a name. Choose your target aspect ratio (16:9 for widescreen, 9:16 for vertical/mobile).

Step 3: Add Your Script​

You can either:

  • Paste your screenplay directly into the script editor
  • Start from scratch and write scene descriptions
  • Use a template from our library of example scripts

ACT3 AI will automatically parse your script into acts, scenes, and beats.

Step 4: Review Your Shot Breakdown​

ACT3 AI generates a shot breakdown for each scene. Each shot includes:

  • Camera angle and type
  • Lens focal length
  • Camera movement
  • Lighting setup
  • Subject framing

Review and adjust any shots that don't match your vision.

Step 5: Generate Video​

Select one or more shots and click Generate. Choose your AI model:

  • Veo 3 — Best quality, most realistic
  • Runway — Fast, great for stylized content
  • ComfyUI/FLUX — Local rendering, full control

ACT3 AI sends your shot descriptions to the model and returns the generated video.

Step 6: Assemble and Export​

Drag your generated shots into the timeline editor. Add audio, transitions, and color grading. Export in your desired format.
